New England in the fall is simply magical. There is so much to do, between going apple picking, attending autumn festivals, finding the best pumpkin patches, eating all the cider donuts, and of course leaf peeping.
While many people head up to norther New Hampshire and Vermont for the foliage, we visited the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University right outside of Boston this past weekend, and the trees were at the perfect peak of colors.
I grew up going to this arboretum as a child ( I learned to roller blade here!), so it’s always special for me to take my daughter Elle to places that bring me back good memories of my own childhood.
We had so much fun running around playing hide and seek, making leaf crowns, picking out our favorite trees, and of course taking all the photos! If you are ever around the Boston area, I highly recommend stopping at the Arnold Arboretum during any season, because there is always something to see, and do. You can learn more about their monthly events here.
