Glamping Adventure at AutoCamp Cape Cod

This past weekend Elle and I packed our car and headed for an adventure in the wilderness at AutoCamp Cape Cod. Just to clarify that by wilderness, I mean, a stay at a beautiful, fully equipped, spotless, and quiet honestly, a very luxurious Airstream suite. AutoCamp Cape Cod is located in Falmouth, MA, about a 5 minute drive into the center of town, and 10 minutes to Woods Hole (and the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard!)

We enjoyed a two night stay, and were completely blown away by not only our Airstream suite, but also the grounds, the Clubhouse, and the amount of activities on property that were family friendly.

I hope you guys were able to follow along on my IG stories (I have a highlight tab dedicated to our trip as well), and I absolutely loved hearing from so many of you about your own stay at AutoCamp, or how our trip has inspired you to book your own adventure. If you’re still not convicted, or feel like you’re not the “camping” type, I hope to persuade you with a recap of our full stay below!

The Airstream Suite:

Walking up to our Airstream, I really had no clue what to expect. I have been inside a camper 1-2 times in my whole life, and let’s just say, it was less than glamourous. This was a whole different story. Our Airstream was spacious, impeccably clean, bright, and tastefully decorated. I was also incredibly impressed at how well each nook was utilized inside the 31-foot space.

There was a plush sofa which converted to a full size sleeper. A queen bed with heavenly linens. A kitchenette with super cute dish and glassware, a French press, kettle, a microwave, and a mini fridge. There was also a small closet, and dressers for your clothes, and even a small safe.

My most favorite (and most surprising part), was the spa inspired bathroom, with walk in shower and vanity sink (full disclosure, I brought in my glass of wine with me one night, because why not!) I loved the Ursa Major toiletries as well.

There is also complimentary Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth speaker system, and heating/air conditioning controls with two zones. Outside you have your own fire pit, chairs, and a dining area.

We loved spending time inside our suite. We played a lot of UNO, Elle enjoyed ‘reading’ “How to Stay Alive in the Woods”, I enjoyed coffee in bed, and of course s’mores and spooky stories by the firepit were a must.

The Grounds:

One of my favorite parts about our stay was exploring the whole AutoCamp Cape Cod property. It is definitely designed with families and children in mind. There was an outdoor playground, picturesque trails, hammocks, community fire pit, and cornhole games. They also have bicycles that you can take out for the day to ride the adjacent Shining Sea bike trail. Elle was a big fan of the little red wagons on the property, and the scavenger hunt activity provided by the resort.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is a mid century modern space that greets you when you pull up to AutoCamp Cape Cod.

This is where you check in (super friendly service by the way!), and also where you will find an array of cozy places to snuggle up with a book, play one of their board games, warm up by the indoor fireplace, or grab a coffee or tea (complimentary throughout the day). There is also a small general store right inside where you can buy snacks, treats, and other necessities for your stay. In the morning, there is granola, but also other breakfast items available for purchase.

AutoCamp Cape Cod offers daily activities such as morning yoga, campfire chats, acoustic music, as well as movie nights, and pop up events.

I should mention that the property is dog friendly, has other accommodation options (such as luxury tents and Vista X suites), has 3 electric car charging stations, plenty of parking, and you can get DoorDash deliveries right to the Clubhouse (Elle and I did that both nights!)

Our new friends have graciously extended a 15% off stays at AutoCamp Cape Cod through March 31, 2022. Use code CAPECODMOMMA, or this link to book your next adventure. Please reach out if you have any questions about our stay, and I’ll be happy to answer them!
