Four Seasons Resort Orlando: A Full Recap

This incredible resort was an absolute no brainer when it came to choosing our accommodations for our June 2021 Disney trip. While there are so many choices, I’m here to tell {and show} you TEN reasons why you should without a doubt stay at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando for your next Disney trip.. or a relaxing vacation!

ONE | The Property

There is nothing like arriving at a new hotel, walking in through the front doors, and being in complete awe of the stunning decor.

From the grand staircase, to the lobby, and really anywhere you looked, everything was decorated with upmost elegance.

The grand staircase leading you to the outside made us feel like royalty everyday.. whether we were dressed up.. or dressed down heading to the pool.

TWO | The Grounds

If the inside of the Four Seasons is stunning, the outdoor grounds are even more incredible.

It is a huge property, which we all loved, because we could walk around after dinner, or in between pool dips. Because the resort is so vast, it often felt like we had it all to ourselves. There are also a lot of places to sit and take it all in. The glass orb fountain was a favorite spot!

THREE | The Pools

This should really say: main pool, splash zone, water slides, lazy river, adult pool.. etc. etc. We were completely blown away by how many places we had to choose from when thinking about where to take a dip.

The splash zone kept Elle entertained for quite some time, and it is perfect for families traveling with smaller children. It’s a great place to cool off for grown ups too.

The slides were Elle’s absolute favorite part. Everyone she comes across who asks her “how was Disney?”, her response is: “good, our hotel had these TWO AWESOME SLIDES!”

The lazy river was a family favorite, we kept going around and around, because it was a mix of relaxing, and hilarious (for Elle), when she would ensure that we went right through the waterfalls.

The main pool was really large, I hear it’s one of the largest at any Disney/Orlando resorts. It was a spot we spent a lot of time at.

Ahhh and finally.. best for last: the adult pool. Elle was at Kids Club (more on this later), so my parents and I escaped to the adult only pool, and it was beyond serene. It was quiet, and the service was outstanding. So much so that my mom and I ended up having my dad pick up Elle from Kids Club, so her and I could enjoy some more bubbly in the pool.

FOUR | Kids For All Seasons Club

Every morning at the resort, Elle would say “is today a day I go to Kids Club?”…. and when the answer was “no, we’re going to one of the parks”, I am not kidding when I say, she was slightly disappointed. The Kids Club at Four Seasons is complimentary, and open to kids ages 4-12 and is open daily from 10-12pm, and 1-5pm. Elle told me “her teachers” were super nice, and they did so many activities from crafts, to pool time, to outdoor games. Besides the slides, this was for sure Elle’s favorite part of our stay.

FIVE | The Spa

We got to the resort on Friday, the following day was my birthday, and we spent the entire day at Magic Kingdom, then Sunday was Father’s Day, and we spent the whole day at the resort. As I mentioned earlier, Elle went to Kids Club, my parents played tennis at the resort’s courts, and I treated myself to an 80 minute massage with a couple of add-ons like essential oils and a scrub. The Spa is a very tranquil space, and I enjoyed not only my treatment, but some alone time in the relaxation lounge. P.S., I booked my spa appointment online in advance.

SIX | The restaurants

The Four Seasons Orlando has six restaurants on site, which was wonderful, because that meant we never had to leave the property to dine.

My favorite experience was at Capa, located on the 17th floor, with two outdoor terraces, perfect for a little pre-dinner photo shoot 😉

We also enjoyed lunch at PB&G the day we arrived while waiting for our room to be ready. This restaurant also serves everything poolside!

Our dinner at Ravello was excellent as well. This modern Italian restaurant serves up delightful hand made pasta, among some other dishes with ingredients imported from Italy. We actually had some before dinner champagne outdoors by the glass orb fountain and asked for a table outside as well, since we were enjoying the evening so much. The indoors and their open air terrace are lovely as well.

I should mention that Ravello has a Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy and his Pals on Saturday, and reservations are a must. The resort also has a Lobby Bar (we got take out from there on our last night and a day of eating at Epcot), and in the morning we stopped at Lickety Split to grab a light breakfast or a coffee before heading out for the day.

SEVEN | Pool Service

Since I’m talking about food, I have to say, eating in my lounge chair right by the pool, may be one of my favorite things ever. I’m not kidding. There is something so great about the simple joys of eating a delicious pool side snack. This is made even better by a Frozen Frosé (or several). We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable lounge chairs, the attentive service, pitchers filled with ice water, and the super soft towels.

EIGHT | Room Service

Room service is high on my list when choosing a resort. It’s kind of Elle’s favorite too. But honestly, how can you beat eating amazing food in your pajamas or bathrobe? We ordered room service the morning of my birthday, and it was the most magnificent way to start the day. We were also heading to Magic Kingdom for the day, so we needed to fuel up!

We also got room service one night after a long day at the park, when we really just wanted to shower, get comfy and stay inside.

And I have to give a special thank you to the thoughtful staff at Four Seasons Orlando for these special treats!

NINE | Accomodations

The Four Seasons Orlando has plenty of rooms to choose from depending on the size of your party, and how much space you need. We stayed in a Golden Oak View Room, with a king size bed, and a pull out sofa couch. There was plenty of space for the four of us. They also offer adjacent rooms which is great for a larger family.

TEN | The Shuttle

I knew that we didn’t want to rent a car for our trip, it just didn’t seem like something we needed to do when we were pretty much planning to go to parks, and stay at the resort. The Four Seasons Orlando offers a complimentary shuttle to all the parks, and it is impeccably clean, spacious, and runs frequently. It’s great to have this option if you also don’t want to rent a car, or have to worry about parking at the parks. It was approximately 20 minutes to Magic Kingdom, 15 minutes to Animal Kingdom, and about the same to Epcot.

There are so many other things we loved about The Four Seasons Orlando. Their tennis courts, their attention to detail (especially when it comes to kids: step stools in all the bathrooms, scavenger hunt, kids sized bathrobes, etc.), and their late-departure lounge. They also offer golf, a gym, volleyball and basketball courts, and so much more.

We cannot wait to come back to this family friendly resort. Please reach out if you have any questions about our stay. I’m more than happy to help!
